A Montessori based activity for people living with dementia, Memory Cascades Matching Activities are a selection of templates that feature photographs of familiar items on one side with the object names on the other. The aim of these activities is to promote reminiscence as the user matches the images to the template or the words creating cascades of memories and experiences from the past. Users can progress from matching the pictures to matching the pictures to the words. This makes the activity more difficult.
